Process:

Discovery Phase

In this initial stage, a thorough analysis of the company's existing communication and information distribution methods was conducted. This involved understanding the challenges faced by drivers, assessing the need for real-time updates, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Competitor analysis was also carried out to ensure Bustraker's features would be competitive and innovative.

Empathy Phase

To gain insights into the drivers' experiences and needs, interviews and surveys were conducted. Understanding the daily challenges, preferences, and pain points of the drivers allowed for the creation of detailed user personas. Empathy maps were developed to visualize the emotional and practical aspects of a driver's journey.

Development Phase

The app's development began with the creation of wireframes and prototypes. These visual representations allowed for a tangible exploration of the app's interface and functionality. User testing was conducted at this stage, involving actual bus drivers, to gather feedback on the app's usability and identify areas for refinement.

Design Phase

A user-friendly and visually cohesive design was established in this phase. The app's interface was crafted to ensure intuitive navigation, and a modular design system was implemented to facilitate scalability. The goal was to create an aesthetically pleasing and functional platform that resonated with the drivers' preferences.

User Testing

Following the development and design phases, extensive user testing was conducted with a focus on actual bus drivers.
